1. Be brief - but not too brief; "yes", "no", and "hello" are okay, but generally one or two word answers are very difficult for a computer program to translate, because context is important. And too long is impossible. 1 or 2 short but complete sentences is best. Four words or more is best and we have set a 50 word maximum.

2. Be accurate – write in complete but short sentences and in proper English. Writing in phrases, without proper punctuation and/or without capitalizing words correctly will result in confusing translation.

3. Be precise – if a word is not spelled correctly it isn't English and can't be translated. Proper punctuation is also very helpful.

4. Be simple – avoid long and difficult words and sentences.

To utilize translation choose the language you are receiving to be translated to the language you can read (eg: Chinese > English) and click on the Translation Box at the top of your Chat Box.
