Welcome Daniel's New Baby Into The World by John Abbot
Please join us as we welcome Daniel Appers-Chermont into the world. Born yesterday to our own Daniel Chermont and his lovely Chinese wife, Angela.  Young Daniel was born at a whopping 5 kilograms, but both he and Mommy are in good health. As you'll see below he is already clearly an attractive mixed baby, and he has family in China (Angela's family) as well as Canada (Daniel and son Matheus) and Brazil (Daniel's family from his native home) all anxiously awaiting their first meeting.

We'll leave it up to Daniel to provide all the details in a future blog, but wanted all interested members to have the basics. This is one baby who really was born into a wonderful world, filled with loving parents, an older brother already planning to dote on him, a huge welcoming family and 3 wonderful countries to explore and call home. What an exiting future he has ahead of him. One of our favourite Success Stories, Daniel and Angela have now greatly enhanced that success. We wish them, young Daniel and their whole family a joyous life together.

Mixed Chinese/Western Baby, Daniel Appers-Chermont is welcomed by CLM and all Members.

Reply Fantastic news indeed and such a lovely baobao!

Heartiest congratulations to both Angela as well as Daniel on this wonderful achievement.

Appreciation should also go to for bringing these two lovely people together in the first place. The management here should be very proud indeed for being a part of all this, if only indirectly.

It's said that all children being born right now can fully expect to live to well over 100 years of age, given the advances in medical technologies made over the past few years. So little Daniel here could well be alive in 2114 and who knows, maybe even 2124 and beyond, as the march of science moves on, such as cures for cancer being found in the future and so forth.

Well done indeed, Angela and Daniel! :)

Reply @Barry1 Thank you for your words Barry. I chose the name Daniel for him, because Daniel in the entire Bible, was one of the 4 people that did not disappoint the Lord. There were the two young men that were his friends and Joseph, husband of Mary completes the quartet. Other people that were blessed by the Lord Like Salomon, David, Samson even Abraham, in one way or another went astray. Most of them because of lust ..... Is not that curious? Daniel's older brother I named Matheus, which means "The gift from God". All children are angels and gifts from God. Jesus had a special kindness and attention to the little ones and strongly advised that "whoever hurts them should have a millstone wrapped around his neck and drown in the sea". Once He told us the "to them belong the Kingdom of Heavens" and in his last public appearance he said that for us to enter the Kingdom of Heavens we should be "humble and innocent like them". I love children. Through their innocence, they say bluntly the truth. I always learn something from them. God bless you, Barry.

Reply @ sandy339 Hi Sandy, you are a very kind person. That picture was taken by my brother in law shortly after Daniel's birth. He looks like his Mom, with a thing or two from my side. I just ask the Lord to make an honest, healthy and happy human being out of him. Thank you so much Sandy, God bless you.

Reply @dancingshoes Amazing as it may sound, Daniel and his brother Matheus (that is now 18) were BOTH exactly the same weight and measurement!!! What a coincidence. Both were born with 5 kilos and 54 cm. That picture was taken shortly after he was cleaned by the nurses and checked by the neonatologist, the super specialized pediatrician that sees the newborns and check them from head to toe. Thanks God, both, Angela and the baby are well and at home. He is cute because he looks like his Mom. I am packing my stuff to head to Beijing on Tuesday March 10 to be with them. The good news is that Angela was already approved to immigrate to Canada. You are having first hand news, I will share these good news with the CLM community. It was in record time, less than 2 months, wow, thanks to the Lord. God bless you, dancingshoes, all the best for you and your family.
