8 Questions to Enhance Your Chat by John Abbot

Okay, you've been working on this one great Chinese woman for a month, trying to get her attention. Finally you're meeting with her regularly on the CLM website and starting to chat. Now what? How do you keep her interested?

Some people are just natural chatterboxes, but they usually aren't men.  Most men are pretty quiet and non-verbal compared to women. But there is nothing that can do more damage to a brand new online dating relationship than long periods of silence. At the same time, it isn't always easy to think of things to say that will spark some interest in the other side, and too often the harder we try to think of something fresh and interesting to chat about the more blank our minds become.

One of many great resources from Michael WebbHere are 8 questions you can ask her that are bound to spark some interest. Regardless of whether she is a China woman, an Asia woman or European, Latina or African, these questions are important to her. And how she answers them are important to you as her answers will tell you a lot about her.

At the same time each of these questions will create a lengthy opportunity for chatting if you answer them together. Here they are:

1. Do you think you would prefer a calm, loving, consistent marriage or one that was full of excitement, wild times and rocky patches?

2. What makes you feel secure and safe?

3. Which do you think should have the final say in decisions - logic or emotions? Why?

4. About what things are you most selfish?

5. Is it ever appropriate for someone to express anger in a physical way? If so, when and how?

6. When you are sick and feeling poorly, do you like to be alone or do you like to be pampered and have someone close to your side most of the time?

7. If a fire destroyed your home and all of your belongings, what would you do? If you could take out three things before the blaze, what would they be? (Assuming there is no one in the house at the time of the fire.)

8. What one skill do you wish you had learned but haven't yet (Play the piano? Learn a foreign language? Fly a plane? Etc.)?

Now don't use up all 8 questions on the first chat session. Keep them handy for those evenings when you're a little brain dead and just can't think of something to keep the conversation going, and try to limit yourself to one or two per session.

And no I didn't think them up all by myself. the credit goes to Michael Webb, probably the number one relationship consultant on the internet and a guy who's been interviewed on dozens of major TV talk shows to give relationship advice.
